DESCRIPTION

· The M74HC294 is a high-speed CMOS programmable divider/timer fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It functions as a programmable frequency divider with two clock inputs for clock gating.

· The device can divide frequencies from 2^2 to 2^15 and includes an active-low clear input to initialize all flip-flops.

· It features test points (TP) for incoming inspection and protection circuits against static discharge and transient excess voltage.

· The Q output has a "Totem Pole" configuration, and the test point TP has an "Open Drain" output configuration.
