DESCRIPTION

· The MAX11800–MAX11803 are low-power touch-screen controllers designed for power-sensitive applications like handheld equipment.

· They operate from a single supply of 1.70V to 3.6V and include a 12-bit SAR ADC and a multiplexer for resistive touch-screen panels.

· These devices feature digital preprocessing, smart interrupt function generation, and automatic low-power modes between conversions.

· The MAX11800/MAX11801 offer direct and autonomous operation modes, with the latter enabling periodic touch-screen scans without host-processor intervention.

· They support data-tagging for measurement and touch event types and are available in 12-pin TQFN and WLP packages.
