DESCRIPTION

· The MAX17047/MAX17050 integrate the ModelGauge™ m3 algorithm, combining coulomb counter accuracy with voltage-based fuel gauge stability and temperature compensation for superior fuel-gauge precision.

· The algorithm eliminates offset accumulation errors and avoids abrupt corrections, ensuring accurate state of charge (SOC) and time-to-empty estimations across various conditions.

· The device offers two battery age reporting methods: capacity reduction and cycle odometer, and measures current, voltage, and temperature with precision.

· It features a 2-wire I2C interface for data and control register access and is available in compact, lead-free packages.
