DESCRIPTION

· The MC10/100EP17 is a 4-bit differential line receiver based on the EP17 device.

· It is ideal for buffering very high-speed oscillators with a maximum frequency of >3.0 GHz.

· Features a VBB pin for internal voltage supply, useful for single-ended input conditions and AC coupled inputs.

· Includes two stages of internal gain, suitable for high bandwidth amplifier applications.

· Unused gate inputs can be left open without affecting the device's operation.

· Requires external connection of all VCC and VEE pins for proper functionality.

· The 100 Series includes temperature compensation.

FEATURES

· Typical propagation delay of 220 ps.

· Operates at a maximum frequency greater than 3.0 GHz.

· PECL mode operating range: VCC = 3.0 V to 5.5 V with VEE = 0 V.

· NECL mode operating range: VCC = 0 V with VEE = -3.0 V to -5.5 V.

· Open input default state with safety clamp on inputs.

· Q output defaults LOW with inputs open or at VEE.

· Pb-Free, Halogen Free, and RoHS compliant.
