DESCRIPTION

· The MIC2341 is a dual-slot power controller designed for PCI Express Hot-Plug compliant systems.

· It provides complete power control for two PCI Express slots, including 3.3VAUX as per PCI Express standards.

· Features include programmable gate voltage slew-rate control, voltage supervision, programmable current limit, and circuit breaker functions for 12V, 3.3V, and 3.3VAUX supplies.

· Supports two independent PCI Express slots with 12V, 3.3V, and 3.3VAUX supplies.

· Integrated Power MOSFETS for 3.3VAUX rails and standby operation for Wake-on-LAN applications.

· Includes electronic circuit breakers, programmable gate voltage slew-rate control, and active current regulation.

· High accuracy primary and secondary circuit breaker current-limit thresholds.

· Dual-level, dual-speed fault detection and user-programmable primary overcurrent detector.

· Provides /PWRGD and Delayed /PWRGD signal outputs, separate /FAULT outputs, and global systems power-is-good output.

· Features thermal isolation for both slots and internally debounced plug-in card retention switch inputs.
