DESCRIPTION
· The MLX75305 Light-to-Voltage SensorEyeC is a CMOS integrated optical sensor IC designed for high-volume automotive and non-automotive applications. It includes a photodiode, transimpedance amplifier, and output transistor on a single chip, converting ambient or LED light intensity into an output voltage.
FEATURES
· Converts light intensity to voltage with high linearity and low temperature dependency.
· Operates with a supply voltage range of 3V to 5.5V and features an open drain output.
· Packaged in an Automotive Cavity SO8, suitable for solder reflow at 260°C, MSL3.
· Automotive qualified AEC-Q100 Grade 1, operating temperature from -40°C to 125°C.
· RoHS compliant and lead-free.
APPLICATIONS
· General: Ambient Light Sensor, LCD Backlight Sensor, LED Power Monitoring.
· Automotive: Automatic light dimming of instrument panels, electrochrome dimming, headlights on/off control.
