DESCRIPTION
· The MLX8005x/3x series integrates a low-drop voltage regulator (5V/3.3V, 70mA) with a Reset/Watchdog unit and a LIN bus transceiver, suitable for LIN 2.x and SAE J2602 compliant systems. The watchdog timings are adjustable via external resistors, and the output current can be extended using an external bipolar transistor. This combination facilitates the development of efficient and cost-effective slave nodes in LIN bus systems.
FEATURES
· Compliant with LIN 2.x / SAE J2602 standards.
· Operates at a supply voltage of 5 to 27V.
· Features three modes: Normal, Silent, and Sleep.
· Includes a linear low-drop voltage regulator with outputs of 3.3V/70mA or 5V/70mA.
· Low current consumption: Sleep mode at 20µA, Silent mode at 45µA.
· LIN-Bus Transceiver with baud rates up to 20 kBaud.
· Enhanced ESD robustness and load dump protection up to 40V.
· Supports remote and local wake-up source recognition.
· Programmable Window Watchdog available in MLX80031/51 models.
· Operates in automotive temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
