DESCRIPTION

· The MLX81120 is a fully integrated LIN Slave IC designed for ambient light applications, capable of driving one RGB LED and one white LED independently with its four high voltage outputs.

· It supports LIN 2.x and SAE J2602 bus systems and includes an additional UART and LIN physical layer for private LIN master functionality.

· The device combines two LIN physical layers, a LIN protocol controller, a microcontroller, and user-friendly IO configurations to enable the development of cost-effective, powerful, and flexible LIN Slave nodes.

FEATURES

· 16-bit MCU with 32kB Flash (with ECC), 16kROM, 2kByte RAM, and 380 Byte EEPROM (with ECC).

· LIN PHY & LIN Slave Protocol Controller supporting baud rates up to 19.2 kBaud.

· 3 high voltage inputs/outputs, programmable constant current outputs, 16-bit PWM outputs, and interrupt-capable inputs.

· Integrated 10-bit ADC with pre-divider, battery monitor, and temperature monitor.

· Low standby current consumption of 20μA in sleep mode, over-temperature shutdown, and load dump protection.

· Operates in an automotive temperature range of –40°C to 125°C, packaged in a DFN4x4 12-pin format.
