DESCRIPTION

· The MLX83203 and MLX83202 are automotive 3-phase BLDC pre-drivers designed for 12V-28V battery systems.

· They feature level shifting between MCU PWM outputs and external half-bridges, supporting 3.3V-5V microcontrollers.

· These drivers are qualified for automotive applications and come in a 32-pin QFN-EP package with wettable flanks.

FEATURES

· Gate driver strength: MLX83203 (1.00A), MLX83202 (0.33A).

· Operating voltage range: 4.5V-28V, with an absolute maximum rating of 45V.

· Integrated 12V voltage regulator and bootstrap circuits for high-side gate drivers.

· Supports 6x 350nC N-FETs at 20kHz PWM and 100% PWM operation.

· Integrated current sense amplifier with programmable gain (8x-48x) and fast settling time (<1µs).

· Extensive diagnostics including under/over voltage detection, over temperature warning, and VDS/VGS monitoring.

· Configurable EEPROM for driver and diagnostics settings.

· Sleep mode with current <30µA and reverse polarity N-FET protection.
