DESCRIPTION
· The MM3575 series is a high-voltage CMOS process protection IC designed for 3 to 5-cell Li-ion/polymer batteries.
· It detects overcharge, overdischarge, discharging/charging overcurrent, cell balance, and disconnect from V5 to V3 pin.
· Supports cascade connection for protecting 6 or more cells.
· External N-channel MOSFET can be used to construct a regulator.
FEATURES
· Overcharge detection voltage: 3.6V to 4.5V, ±25mV accuracy.
· Overdischarge detection voltage: 2.0V to 3.0V, ±80mV accuracy.
· Discharging overcurrent detection voltage: 30mV to 300mV, ±15mV accuracy.
· Short detection voltage: 4 or 8 times VDET3-1, ±100mV accuracy.
· Charging overcurrent detection voltage: -300mV to -20mV, ±10mV accuracy.
· Cell balance detection voltage: 3.6V to 4.5V, ±30mV accuracy.
· Configurable detection delay times with specified accuracy ranges.
