DESCRIPTION
· The ALTA Wireless Thermocouple Sensor supports hardwired thermocouples or K-type connectors for various thermocouple types and ranges.
· The hardwired thermocouple option measures temperatures up to 400°C (752°F).
· The sensor operates by sleeping for a user-defined interval, waking up to power the thermocouple, stabilizing, converting analog data, computing temperature, and transmitting data to the gateway.
· Temperature computation is based on a manufacturer-provided data table.

· Wireless range of 1,200+ feet through 12+ walls.
· Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) for improved interference immunity.
· Enhanced power management for extended battery life (12+ years on AA batteries).
· Encrypt-RF® Security with Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange and AES-128 CBC for secure data messages.
· Up to 3,200 readings: 10-minute heartbeats = 22 days, 2-hour heartbeats = 266 days.
