DESCRIPTION

· The MP1038 is a fixed-frequency inverter controller designed to power cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL) for LCD backlighting.
· It controls four external N-Channel MOSFETs in a full-bridge configuration, converting unregulated DC input to near-pure sine waves.
· Features include lamp ignition frequency sweep, burst oscillator synchronization, and fault management with open lamp and over-current protection.
· Available in TSSOP28 and SOIC28 packages.
