DESCRIPTION

· The Unicorn II chipset, comprising the ST70138 digital chip and MTC20174 analog front end, is designed for ultra-low-BOM ADSL modem designs.

· It offers a cost-effective solution for ADSL USB modems compatible with various operating systems including Microsoft Windows™, Mac OS, and Linux.

· The chipset features a controller-less architecture and eliminates the need for external SDRAM, reducing the external bill-of-materials (E-BOM).

· It supports high-speed performance up to 8 Mbps and is suitable for small-dimension standard 2-layer single-sided PCBs.

FEATURES
