DESCRIPTION

· The NCV7704/NCV7714 is a Driver-IC for automotive body control systems.
· It controls loads in vehicle front doors, including mirror positioning, heating, and electro-chromic features (NCV7714 only).
· It features three high-side outputs for driving LEDs or incandescent bulbs up to 10 W.
· Outputs can be PWM-controlled via external signals or an internal programmable PWM generator.
· Controlled through a 24-bit SPI interface with in-frame response.

FEATURES

· Operating range: 5.5 V to 28 V.
· Three high-side and three low-side drivers configured as half-bridges (0.75 A load, 1.6 Ω RDS(on) at 25°C).
· Three high-side lamp drivers: 2x LED (0.3 A, 1.4 Ω RDS(on)), 1x 10 W configurable (2.5 A, 300 mΩ RDS(on)).
· One high-side driver for mirror heating (6 A, 100 mΩ RDS(on)).
· Electro-chromic mirror control (NCV7714 only): 6-bit selectable voltage controller, 0.75 A load.
· Independent PWM functionality for all outputs.
· Integrated programmable PWM generator with 7-bit/9-bit duty-cycle precision.
· Programmable soft-start for high inrush current loads.
· Multiplex current sense analog output for load monitoring.
· Low standby current consumption.
· Charge pump output for reverse polarity protection MOSFET.
· 24-bit SPI interface for control and diagnostics.
· Protection against short-circuit, overvoltage, and over-temperature.
· Compatible with NCV7707 in pin-to-pin and SPI registers.
· AEC-Q100 qualified and PPAP capable.
