DESCRIPTION
· The NJU3718 is a 20-bit serial to parallel converter designed for MPU output expansion.
· It connects to MPU using only 4 lines, enabling efficient output assignment.
· It accepts serial data synchronized with a 5MHz or higher clock, outputting through a parallel buffer.
· Features a serial output terminal for cascading with other SIPO ICs like NJU3711.
· Includes a hysteresis input circuit for wide noise margin and a high-drive output buffer capable of directly driving LEDs.
