DESCRIPTION

· The OP550, OP552, OP555, OP750, OP755, OP770, and OP775 series feature NPN silicon phototransistors in epoxy packages with wide receiving angles for uniform reception over large areas. The OP750, OP755, OP770, and OP775 include additional circuitry for enhanced operation under stray light conditions.

· The OP560 and OP565 series consist of NPN silicon photodarlington transistors in epoxy packages, also with wide receiving angles, suitable for large area reception. Their side-looking package design facilitates easy PCB mounting in slotted optical switches or optical interrupt detectors.

· OP550, OP560, OP750, and OP770 devices have an external lens in a clear epoxy package. OP552 features an integral lens in an opaque plastic package, transparent to infrared but opaque to visible light, ideal for high ambient light conditions.

· OP555, OP565, OP755, and OP775 devices have an internal lens in a blue-tinted package, offering an acceptance half-angle of 28° from the optical axis to the half-power point.
