· The PCA2000 and PCA2001 are CMOS integrated circuits designed for battery-operated wrist watches, utilizing a 32 kHz quartz crystal and a bipolar 1 Hz stepping motor.
· Optimized for minimal power consumption, they feature a quartz crystal oscillator and frequency divider with a timing accuracy of 1 ppm.
· Includes automatic motor pulse adaptation to ensure correct motor steps with minimal drive current, adjustable via a variable duty cycle.
· PCA2000 includes a battery End Of Life (EOL) warning function, while PCA2001 lacks this feature.

· Amplitude-regulated 32 kHz quartz crystal oscillator with high frequency stability and immunity to leakage currents.
