DESCRIPTION

· PI3HDMI511 is a TMDS Redriver compliant with HDMI 1.4 and DVI specifications, supporting data rates up to 3.4Gbps with 48-bit per pixel Deep ColorTM.

· It features enhanced ESD/EOS protection up to 8kV, essential for consumer video networks.

· The device converts DC and AC coupled source devices into HDMI compliant signals, particularly useful in Notebook HDMI and Dual mode DP PC systems.

· It includes programmable termination settings at TMDS input to address compatibility issues and determine connection status with proper termination voltage.

· Pericom's intelligent power management allows the device to automatically enter low power states when no valid signal is present on the TMDS link.

· Compliant with HDMI™ 1.4, operating up to 3.4 Gbps per lane (340MHz pixel clock), supporting 4K x 2K at 24Hz (297MHz) and 3D video formats.

· Supports up to 48-bit per pixel Deep ColorTM.

· Converts low-swing DC or AC coupled differential input to open-drain current steering Rx terminated differential output.

· Includes Output Squelch function, Rx sense detection, and programmable equalizer, emphasis, and amplitude settings for optimized HDMI signal integrity.

· Integrated Passive DDC level shifter from 3.3V source to 5V sink, idle clock detection, and programmable input TMDS termination control.

· Requires 3.3V power supply and offers integrated ESD protection on I/O pins up to 8kV contact per IEC61000-4-2, level 4 and 8kV HBM.

· Packaged in Pb-free & Green 32-contact TQFN (ZL).
