DESCRIPTION

· The PI6ULS5V9617B is a CMOS integrated circuit designed for Fast-mode Plus (Fm+) I2C-bus and SMBus applications, facilitating voltage level shifting from 0.6V to 5.5V.

· It isolates bus capacitance, supporting up to 540pF at 1 MHz and 4000pF at lower speeds, and extends I2C-bus capabilities through bidirectional buffering of SDA and SCL lines.

· The device features high-impedance I2C-bus pins when unpowered and includes ESD protection exceeding 8000V HBM.

FEATURES

· 2-channel bidirectional buffer with voltage translation between 0.6V and 5.5V.

· Supports clock frequencies from 0 Hz to 1 MHz, accommodating Standard-mode, Fast-mode, and Fast-mode Plus I2C-bus devices.
