DESCRIPTION



· The PI90LV387/PI90LVB387 consists of sixteen differential line drivers implementing low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS).

· Designed for point-to-point and multi-point data transmission over controlled impedance media.

· Suitable for use with printed-circuit board traces, backplanes, or cables.

· Enables precise timing alignment for synchronous parallel data transfers.

· Operates with a 3V supply rail, reducing power and increasing switching speeds.

· Compatible with companion 16-channel receivers (PI90LV386 or PI90LVT386) for high-speed data transfer.



FEATURES



· Meets or exceeds ANSI EIA/TIA-644 Standard requirements.

· Supports signaling rates up to 500 Mbps with low EMI.

· Low voltage differential signaling with typical output voltage of 350mV.

· Propagation delay times less than 2.6ns.

· Output skew less than 150ps; part-to-part skew less than 1.5ns.

· Total power dissipation of 35mW per driver at 200 MHz.

· Bus-pin ESD protection exceeds 10kV.

· LVTTL logic inputs are 5V tolerant.

· Available in 64-Pin TSSOP (Pb-free & Green) packaging.
