DESCRIPTION

· The PIC16F87X series are 8-bit CMOS FLASH microcontrollers by Microchip Technology, featuring a high-performance RISC CPU.

· These devices include up to 8K x 14 words of FLASH Program Memory, 368 x 8 bytes of RAM, and 256 x 8 bytes of EEPROM Data Memory.

· They are pinout compatible with the PIC16C73B/74B/76/77 and support in-circuit serial programming and debugging.



FEATURES

· High-performance RISC CPU with 35 single-word instructions, mostly single-cycle execution.

· Operating speed up to 20 MHz with a 200 ns instruction cycle.

· Interrupt capability with up to 14 sources and an eight-level deep hardware stack.

· Power management features include Power-on Reset, Power-up Timer, Oscillator Start-up Timer, and a Watchdog Timer.

· Wide operating voltage range from 2.0V to 5.5V and low power consumption.

· Peripheral features include multiple timers, capture/compare/PWM modules, a 10-bit ADC, and serial communication interfaces.
