DESCRIPTION

· The Switchtec PFX Gen 4 Fanout PCIe Switch Family offers high-reliability PCIe switches with up to 100 lanes, 52 ports, 26 virtual switch partitions, and 48 non-transparent bridges (NTBs). It includes hot- and surprise-plug controllers, advanced error containment, comprehensive diagnostics, and an integrated MIPS processor.

· Ports bifurcate from x1 to x16 lanes, with up to 48 NTBs assignable to any port.
· Supports 1+1 and N+1 failover mechanisms and logical non-transparent (NT) interconnect.
· High-performance DMA controller with ultra-low latency.
· Advanced Error Reporting (AER), Downstream Port Containment (DPC), and Completion Timeout Synthesis (CTS).
· Hot- and surprise-plug controllers per port, with GPIOs configurable for different cable/connector standards.
· Supports passive, managed, and optical cables with SFF-8644, SFF-8643, SFF-8639, OCuLink, and other connectors.
· Comprehensive diagnostics and debugging with real-time eye capture and external loopback capability.
