DESCRIPTION

· The PS700 is a high-accuracy battery monitoring IC designed for rechargeable battery systems, supporting Lithium 1-cell and 2-cell configurations.

FEATURES

· Measures and maintains critical battery parameters with high precision, including current (±0.5% error) and temperature (±2°C accuracy).

· Features 32-bit registers for accumulating charge/discharge current, temperature, and voltage data.

· Includes 512-byte nonvolatile EEPROM for storing factory and user-defined parameters.

· Offers in-system offset calibration for current measurement accuracy.

· Supports SMBus/I2C communication interface and comes in an 8-pin TSSOP package.

· Operates across a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C.

· Configurable NTC and VC2 pins for thermistor input or GPIO functionality.
