DESCRIPTION

· The INCA-P, PSB 21493, integrates all functions required for a high-feature PBX phone in a single chip.

· It includes a line transceiver for subscriber access functions in digital PBX terminals connected to a two-wire UPN interface.

· The chip provides complete Layer-1 and basic Layer-2 functions for digital terminals.

· It features an Analog Front End (AFE) and an integrated fixpoint DSP for signal processing tasks.

· The INCA-P is designed for terminal equipment where microphones, loudspeakers, headsets, and handsets can be directly connected to the AFE.

· Full-duplex echo cancellation with noise reduction and two transducer correction filters.

· Tone Generator and DTMF Receiver.

· Three differential inputs for handset microphone, speaker-phone, and headset.

· Three differential outputs for handset ear piece (200 Ω), headset (200 Ω), and loudspeaker (100 mW @ 20 Ω).

· PCM A-Law/µ-Law (ITU-T G.711) and 8/16-bit linear data.

· PCM Codec fully compatible with ITU-T G.712 and ETSI (NET33) specification.
