DESCRIPTION

· The R5540 series are N-channel Load Switch ICs with a typical supply current of 9µA.
· Utilizes an N-channel transistor for low on-resistance and reverse current protection at off state.
· Gate voltage is supplied from an internal step-up circuit.
· Ideal for power supply from secondary sources like step-down DC/DC converters.
· Features an ultra-small DFN(PL)1010-4F package for high-density board mounting.

FEATURES

· Built-in N-channel MOSFET.
· Input Voltage Range: 0.75V to 3.6V (Code 002), 0.8V to 3.6V (Code 004).
· Supply Current: Typ. 9µA at operation, Typ. 0.1µA at standby.
· Switch On Resistance: Typ. 120mΩ at VIN=1.2V.
· Output Current: Min. 200mA, Min. 450mA.
· Built-in over-current sensing circuit: Typ. 350mA, Typ. 700mA.
· Includes soft-start function.

APPLICATIONS

· Suitable for secondary power sources in electrical appliances.
· Used in mobile communication equipment, cameras, VCRs, and Camcorders.
