DESCRIPTION

· The RA8804CE is a real-time clock module designed for automotive applications, featuring a built-in 32.768 kHz DTCXO for high stability.
· It utilizes an I2C-Bus interface with a Fast-Mode speed of 400 kHz for efficient communication.
· The module includes a frequency-adjusted 32.768 kHz crystal unit, ensuring precise timekeeping under various conditions.



FEATURES

· High stability with temperature compensation: ±3.4 x 10^-6 from -40°C to +85°C and ±8.0 x 10^-6 from +85°C to +105°C.
· Selectable clock output frequencies: 32.768 kHz, 1024 Hz, and 1 Hz.
· Wakeup timer function with a range from 244 µs to 32 years, supporting auto-repeat and watchdog timer applications.
· Time stamp function capable of recording events from year to second, with EVIN pin for trigger inputs and chattering-cancel feature.
· Alarm function programmable from day to minute, with interrupt output for alarm and timer events.
· SOUT pin for internal state output, providing selected flag-bit value or specified logic level.
· Self-monitoring interrupts for crystal oscillation stop, VBAT low, and VDD low conditions.
· AEC-Q100 compliant, ensuring reliability in automotive environments.
