DESCRIPTION

· This IC, developed using CMOS technology, is a high-side switch with a current monitor function. It supplies voltage to the load connected to the VOUT pin when the Pch output transistor is turned on. The current monitor measures the current flowing to the high-side switch, outputs voltage according to the load current, and limits the current from exceeding the set value. It includes an ON/OFF circuit to control the Pch output transistor's status and a thermal shutdown circuit to prevent overheating. ABLIC Inc. provides FIT rate calculations based on actual customer usage conditions to support functional safety design.

· Built-in thermal shutdown circuit: Latch type, detection temperature 170°C typ.

· Built-in overvoltage detection circuit: Detects output short-circuit of higher voltage

· Built-in ON/OFF circuit: Ensures long battery life

· Under voltage lockout function (UVLO): 2.6 V typ. (Detection voltage)

· Operation temperature range: Ta = −40°C to +125°C
