DESCRIPTION

· The S-8244 Series is designed for secondary protection of lithium-ion batteries with one to four cells, featuring a high-precision voltage detector and delay circuit. It supports serial connection of up to four cells through cell short-circuiting.

FEATURES

· Internal high-precision voltage detector with overcharge detection voltage range of 3.700 V to 4.550 V, accuracy of ±25 mV at +25°C and ±50 mV from -40°C to +85°C, with five hysteresis types.
· High-withstand voltage with an absolute maximum rating of 26 V.
· Wide operating voltage range from 3.6 V to 24 V.
· Adjustable delay time via external capacitor.
· Low current consumption: max 3.0 μA at 3.5 V and max 2.4 μA at 2.3 V per cell at +25°C.
· Five output logic and form options including CMOS and Nch open drain outputs.
· Lead-free and halogen-free design.

APPLICATIONS

· Secondary protection in lithium-ion rechargeable battery packs.
