DESCRIPTION

· The S2D13515 is a highly integrated LCD controller designed for automotive applications, featuring a 32-bit RISC CPU and accelerator blocks for enhanced flexibility and functionality.

· It supports audio playback, 2D BitBLT operations, warp and filtering, and OpenGL-ES 1.1, making it ideal for automotive HUD and pseudo 3D navigation displays.

· The device uses external SDRAM for its frame buffer and supports various CPU interfaces and LCD panel outputs, suitable for instrumentation and center cluster applications.

FEATURES

· Direct and indirect CPU interfaces, SPI or I2C host interface.

· Memory interface for x16 or x32 external SDRAM.

· Supports displaying 2 RGB panels simultaneously with some restrictions.

· Programmable resolutions and color depths up to 32 bpp.

· Video input/camera port supporting 8-bit cameras and RGB input streams.

· Sprite engine with up to 8 sprites, multiple windows with alpha blending, double buffering, and horizontal flip.

· 32-bit embedded RISC processor with accelerator blocks for audio playback, OpenGL-ES 1.1, and 2D BitBLT acceleration.
