DESCRIPTION

· The SCA720-D01 is a single-axis accelerometer with an analog interface, designed by Murata Electronics Oy.

· It integrates a silicon bulk micro-machined sensing element chip and a signal conditioning ASIC, both protected with silicone gel and a lid.

· The device is housed in a pre-molded package with 12 SMD gull-wing type legs, ensuring robust connectivity and protection.

FEATURES

· Operates on a single +5 V supply with a typical current consumption of 2.5 mA.

· Provides a ratiometric output relative to the supply voltage, which ranges from 4.75 V to 5.25 V.

· Features enhanced failure detection including a digitally activated self-test using electrostatic force, memory parity checks, and built-in connection failure detection.

· Offers wide load drive capability up to 20 nF and true DC response.

· Includes full traceability information in a 2D-matrix on the lid and is qualified according to the AEC-Q100 standard.
