DESCRIPTION



· SST16 Series 16A TRIACs with high dv/dt rate and strong resistance to electromagnetic interference.

· Designed for high commutation performance, especially recommended for inductive loads.

· Available in TO-220C and TO-220A (Ins) packages.



FEATURES



· High ability to withstand shock loading of large current.

· Repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) and repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) up to 600/800V.

· Non-repetitive surge peak off-state voltage (VDSM) and non-repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRSM) up to VDRM+100V and VRRM+100V respectively.

· RMS on-state current (IT(RMS)) up to 16A at TC=86℃ for TO-220A (Ins) and TC=107℃ for TO-220C.

· Non-repetitive surge peak on-state current (ITSM) up to 160A.

· I2t value for fusing (tp=10ms) up to 128 A2s.

· Critical rate of rise of on-state current (dI/dt) up to 50 A/μs.

· Peak gate current (IGM) up to 4A.

· Average gate power dissipation (PG(AV)) up to 1W.

· Peak gate power (PGM) up to 5W.
