DESCRIPTION

· The STA013 is a fully integrated MPEG Layer III Audio Decoder, supporting MPEG 1, MPEG 2, and MPEG 2.5 standards.

· It decodes stereo, mono, or dual channel digital outputs directly to a D/A converter via a programmable PCM Output Interface.

FEATURES

· Supports all MPEG 1 & 2 sampling frequencies and MPEG 2.5 extensions.

· Accepts bitstreams from 8 Kbit/s to 320 Kbit/s.

· Includes digital volume, bass, and treble controls.

· Features a serial bitstream input and I2C interface for ancillary data extraction.

· Low power consumption at 85mW with 2.4V supply.

· Equipped with PLL for internal and output PCM clock generation.
