DESCRIPTION
· The STC03DE170HV is a hybrid emitter switched bipolar transistor (ESBT®) manufactured using a combination of high voltage Bipolar and low voltage MOSFET technologies.
· It is specifically designed for use in auxiliary flyback SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply) for three-phase applications.
· The device is packaged in a TO247-4L HV tube.
FEATURES
· Low equivalent on resistance for efficient operation.
· Very fast-switching capability, supporting frequencies up to 150 kHz.
· Squared RBSOA (Reverse Bias Safe Operating Area), capable of handling up to 1700V.
· Very low CISS (Input Capacitance) when driven by RG = 47 Ω.
