Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The SY10/100E137 are high-speed binary ripple counters with fast edge rates for the two least significant bits and standard ECLinPS output edge rates for more significant bits.
· Designed for high-frequency operation with moderate power dissipation.
· Suitable for multiple frequency clock generation and high-performance ATE time measurement boards.
· Features both asynchronous and synchronous enables for application flexibility.
· Asynchronous enable (A_Start) overrides synchronous enables when asserted.
· Synchronous enables (EN1, EN2) are XOR'ed and synchronized with the CLK input.
· Can be driven single-endedly using the VBB output as a voltage reference for the CLK input.
· Includes an asynchronous Master Reset to reset the counter to zero.

FEATURES

· Minimum count frequency of 1.8GHz.
· Extended 100E VEE range of -4.2V to -5.5V.
· Synchronous and asynchronous enable pins.
· Differential clock input and data output pins.
· VBB output for single-ended use.
· Asynchronous Master Reset.
· Internal 75KΩ input pull-down resistors.
· Available in a 28-pin PLCC package.
