DESCRIPTION

· The TC652/TC653 are integrated temperature sensors and brushless DC fan speed controllers with FanSense™ technology.

· They measure junction temperature and control fan speed based on that temperature, ideal for modern electronic equipment.

· FanSense™ Fan Fault detect circuitry eliminates the need for a 3-wire fan.

· Temperature data is converted into a fractional fan speed from 40% to 100%.

· Includes a single trip point over-temperature alert (T_OVER).

· TC653 includes an auto fan shutdown function for additional power savings.

· Easy to use, no software overhead, ideal for thermal management in various systems.
