DESCRIPTION

· The TC7106A and TC7107A are 3-1/2 digit direct display drive Analog-to-Digital Converters designed for upgrading existing TC7106/TC7107 based systems. They feature a precision reference with a 20 ppm/°C maximum temperature coefficient, offering a 4 to 7 times improvement over similar converters. These devices can be integrated into existing systems without altering external passive component values. The TC7107A is capable of driving common anode LED displays directly with 8 mA per segment, while the TC7106A is optimized for low-power drain and 9V battery operation, making it ideal for portable applications. Both models reduce linearity error to less than 1 count and maintain rollover error below ±1 count. They also feature high-impedance differential inputs with 1 pA leakage current and a 10^12Ω input impedance, facilitating ratiometric measurements for ohms or bridge transducer measurements. The 15 µV P–P noise performance ensures stable readings, and the auto-zero cycle guarantees a zero display reading with zero volts input.
