DESCRIPTION

· THCV244A is a SerDes receiver with a bi-directional transceiver designed to support 4 cameras with 1080p 30fps 16bit and 720p 60fps 16bit uncompressed video data over 15m 100ohm differential STP or single-end 50ohm coaxial cable with 4 in-line connectors between camera and processor by V-by-One® HS. It combines multiple camera data input streams into one or two MIPI output streams using line memory and MIPI virtual channel technology. It supports MIPI CSI-2 with each data lane transmitting up to 1.2Gbps/lane and V-by-One® HS with a maximum serial data rate of 4Gbps/lane. It also controls and monitors remote camera modules via GPIO or a 1Mbps 2-wire serial interface and includes several fault and error detection functions for hardware functional safety design.
