DESCRIPTION

· TIC126 Series Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) are designed for high-power switching applications.

· These devices are glass passivated and capable of handling continuous on-state currents up to 12 A and surge currents up to 100 A.

· The series includes models with off-state voltages ranging from 400 V to 800 V.

· Manufactured in 1971 and revised in 2002, this series is now considered obsolete and not recommended for new designs.

FEATURES

· Continuous on-state current of 12 A at or below 70°C case temperature.

· Surge on-state current capability of 100 A at or below 25°C case temperature.

· Repetitive peak off-state and reverse voltages up to 800 V.

· Maximum gate trigger current (IGT) of 20 mA.

· Operating case temperature range from -40°C to +110°C.

· Glass passivated wafer for enhanced reliability.
