· Full-cycle RMS on-state current: 8 A at (or below) 85°C case temperature.

· Peak on-state surge current: 70 A at (or below) 25°C case temperature.

· Peak gate current: ±1 A.

· Peak gate power dissipation: 2.2 W at (or below) 85°C case temperature.

· Average gate power dissipation: 0.9 W at (or below) 85°C case temperature.

· Operating case temperature range: -40 to +110°C.

· Storage temperature range: -40 to +125°C.

· Lead temperature: 230°C for 10 seconds at 1.6 mm from case.

APPLICATIONS

· Suitable for general-purpose AC switching applications.

· Ideal for resistive load operations at 50-Hz full-sine-wave.

· Can be used in environments requiring high surge current handling.

· Applicable in circuits where gate control may be temporarily lost during surge conditions.

· Not recommended for new designs but currently available.
