DESCRIPTION
· The TL494 is a monolithic PWM control circuit designed for power supply control.
· It includes an error amplifier, adjustable oscillator, dead-time control comparator, pulse-steering control flip-flop, and a 5V precision regulator.
· The error amplifier has a common-mode voltage range from -0.3V to VCC-2V.
· The oscillator can be bypassed or used for synchronous multi-rail power supplies.
· Output transistors support common-emitter or emitter-follower configurations.
· Push-pull or single-ended output operation can be selected via the output-control function.
