DESCRIPTION

· The TLE5014 is a GMR-based angle sensor designed for angular position sensing in automotive applications, particularly for steering angle sensors.

FEATURES

· Utilizes Giant Magneto Resistance (GMR) principle for integrated magnetic field sensing and 360° angle measurement.
· High voltage and reverse polarity capability with EEPROM for configuration storage and customer-specific ID.
· Provides 12-bit representation of absolute angle value with a maximum angle error of 1° over lifetime and temperature range.
· Developed according to ISO26262 with ASIL-D compliant process and internal safety mechanisms (SPFM > 97%).
· Interfaces include PWM, SPC, and SENT (based on SAE J2716-2010).
· Features a 32-point look-up table for correcting systematic angle errors and a programmable 112-bit customer ID.
· Automotive qualified Q100, Grade 1, operating from -40°C to 125°C, with 4 kV ESD protection on VDD and output pin.
· RoHS compliant and halogen-free package.
