DESCRIPTION

· The TS5070 series are second-generation PCM CODEC and Filter devices optimized for digital switching applications on subscriber and trunk line cards.
· They integrate transmit bandpass and receive lowpass channel filters with a companding PCM encoder and decoder using advanced switched capacitor techniques.
· The devices support A-law and µ-law selection and feature a serial PCM interface clockable up to 4.096 MHz.
· Programmable functions include channel gains, hybrid balancing filter, and interface latches for SLIC control.

· Programmable transmit and receive gain with a 25.4 dB range in 0.1 dB steps.
