DESCRIPTION



· The UCCx8C4x family are high-performance, current-mode PWM controllers with BiCMOS technology.

· Enhanced version with pin-to-pin compatibility to UCx84xA and UCx84x families.

· Offers lower power consumption, faster current sense, and oscillator frequency.

· Available in UCC28C4x (-40°C to 125°C) and UCC38C4x (0°C to 85°C) series.

· Suitable for high-speed applications with operation up to 1MHz.

· Features fast current-sense-to-output delay (35ns) and ±1A peak output current.

· Available in 8-pin VSSOP and SOIC packages.



FEATURES



· Enhanced replacement for UCx84x and UCx84xA family with pin-to-pin compatibility.

· Operating frequency up to 1MHz.

· Low startup current: 50μA (max 100μA).

· Low operating current: 2.3mA at 52kHz.

· Fast cycle-by-cycle overcurrent limiting: 35ns.

· Peak driving current: ±1A with rail-to-rail output.

· ±1% accurate 2.5V error amplifier reference.

· Undervoltage lockout protections.

· Compact VSSOP-8 package.
