DESCRIPTION

· The UCC5630A is a Multimode SCSI Terminator designed for seamless integration into LVD SCSI Parallel Interfaces (SPI-2, SPI-3, SPI-4).
· It automatically detects the bus type via DIFFB and switches termination between Single-Ended (SE) and Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI.
· The device cannot be used on HVD, EIA485, or differential SCSI buses; it switches to high impedance if an HVD SCSI device is detected.
· It includes all necessary functions for terminating and auto-detecting SPI-2, SPI-3, and SPI-4 bus architectures.
· The terminator ensures signal integrity with Fail Safe biasing and trimmed impedances and currents.
· Available in 36-pin SSOP and 48-pin LQFP packages for a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
