DESCRIPTION

· The ULN2803A is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array.

· It consists of eight NPN Darlington pairs with common-cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads.

· Each Darlington pair has a collector-current rating of 500 mA.

· The device includes a 2.7-kΩ series base resistor for each Darlington pair, allowing direct operation with TTL or 5-V CMOS devices.
