DESCRIPTION

· The VBA-4E4A-KE-ZE/R AS-Interface I/O module is a compact cabinet module with 4 inputs and 4 relay outputs.

· It features a 22.5 mm width housing for space efficiency in switch cabinets.

· Installation is facilitated by snapping onto a 35 mm DIN Rail in accordance with EN 50022.

· Connections are made through plug-in terminals, with color-coded terminal blocks for inputs (black), outputs (red), and AS-Interface (yellow).

FEATURES

· The module supports both 2- and 3-wire sensors with selectable power supply options (internal or external).

· It includes a communication monitoring function that de-energizes outputs if AS-Interface communication is lost for more than 40 ms.

· The module provides function displays for bus status, internal sensor supply, inputs, and outputs.

· It is equipped with a peripheral error reporting feature for overloading of the internal input supply.
