DESCRIPTION
· The WM8956 is a low-power, high-quality stereo DAC designed for portable multimedia applications.
· It features stereo Class D speaker drivers delivering 1W per channel into 8Ω loads with a 5V supply.
· The device supports direct battery connection to the speaker supply with low leakage and excellent PSRR.
· It includes a flexible input configuration for up to three stereo sources and a complete microphone interface.
· The WM8956 operates at analog supply voltages down to 2.7V and digital supplies down to 1.71V.
· It is housed in a compact 5x5mm QFN package, ideal for handheld and portable systems.
