DESCRIPTION

· The 74AC280 is a high-speed parity generator/checker that processes nine bits of input data to determine if an even or odd number of inputs are HIGH. It outputs HIGH on Sum Even if an even number of inputs are HIGH, and LOW if odd. Sum Odd is the complement of Sum Even.

FEATURES

· Reduces IICC by 50%
· 9-bit width suitable for memory applications
· Available in Tape and Reel packaging by appending suffix "X" to the ordering code
