DESCRIPTION

· The 74F280 is a high-speed 9-bit parity generator/checker designed to determine the parity of nine input bits.

· It detects whether an even or odd number of inputs is HIGH and provides corresponding outputs.

· The Sum Even output is HIGH for an even number of HIGH inputs and LOW for an odd number, with the Sum Odd output being its complement.
