DESCRIPTION

· The 74HC423 and 74HCT423 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices, compatible with LSTTL and compliant with JEDEC standard no. 7A.

· These dual retriggerable monostable multivibrators with reset offer two methods for output pulse width control: external resistor and capacitor selection, and retriggering via active LOW or HIGH edge inputs.

· The devices feature Schmitt trigger inputs for tolerance to slow input transitions and are similar to the 74HC123 and 74HCT123, but lack reset input triggering.

FEATURES

· DC triggering from active HIGH or LOW inputs.

· Retriggerable for extended pulse durations up to 100% duty cycle.

· Direct reset capability to terminate output pulses.
